Hello and welcome to the Probus Club of Ballarat Gardens.
The Probus Club of Ballarat Gardens is a long-standing club with lots of things to offer potential new members. The concept of Probus is to provide retired people the opportunity to meet regularly without demands or obligations and at minimum cost, in circumstances that provide new interests and new friends.
Probus Clubs are autonomous and simple in structure; and it is emphasised that they are non-political, non-sectarian and non-fundraising. Our club began more than 10 years ago with the basic purpose to provide regular gatherings for people who, in retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others with a similar level of interest.
You might like to visit the National web site for Probus Australasia here. It contains information about all the Probus Clubs around Australia and New Zealand. Our Club is also a member of the Probus Association of Victoria
Ultimately, the Probus Club of Ballarat Gardens is about enjoying fellowship, friendship, and fun. There is an ever expanding wide-range of activities on offer. At the moment these include café catch-ups, the walking group, day trips, and guest speakers at our regular monthly meetings. Also, some things we have not even thought of yet!
If you would like to join our club, please fill in this form. Our Club Secretary will contact you by email shortly thereafter with all the information you might need..
Cheers
Peter D.
