A great day out on Lake Wendouree Paddle Steamer.
The weather wasn’t fantastic in the morning, and the winds were still blowing hard. Paddle Steamers don’t like strong winds, as they are very hard to control. Anyway, as the morning progressed the weather improved quite a bit. We had 23 members turn up and we got to meet Captain Bob and deckhand Don. We set sail and the air conditioning (the wind) was still quite fresh!! We had a fantastic hour-long ride around Lake Wendouree. it was great to see everything around the lake from a different perspective. Everybody really enjoyed it. Afterwards we had lunch at the Boatshed. It was a fun day out.
