Members went along to the Ballarat Tram Museum, located in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens for a tram ride, a presentation, morning tea and a visit to the Museum. The staff were very friendly and gave us so much information that I can’t remember any of it.
The tram ride along Wendouree Drive in the Gardens was delightful, waiting for other trams to pass us and then off we went.
Then it was lunchtime and most of us visited the Ballarat Yacht Club for lunch.
A great way to spend a day in Ballarat.
