A group of 11 members ventured to the Melbourne Museum to see “TITANIC – The Artifact Exhibition“. Our Booking was at 10am, so we all boarded the 7.39am train from Wendouree to get there on time. Getting up at 5.30am was fantastic…it was still dark for some hours to come. Anyway, we had a good trip into town and then caught the tram up to the Museum, which is located in the Exhibition Gardens.
There were quite a few people at the Museum, and it seemed to be a very popular place. The artifacts were amazing, and the displays were fantastic. The passageways on the ship were there and the Grand Staircase was also there. It was magnificent.
We had lunch at the Museum and then wandered through the rest of the Museum before heading home. It’s free to enter the Museum and is well worth a look.
