Ballarat has many fine restaurants and food-friendly pubs. Around Armstrong Street, Sturt Street and Mair Street there are many, and at the top end of Mair Street, is Table 48. It has been there for many years and Gus who owns it, does a great job to make his customers feel very welcome, with good service and fantastic food.
Last Wednesday, we had about 20 diners attend this month’s Probus dine out. We tried everything, including pizzas (of course), pasta, and pork ribs as well as lots of other things. Desert was also good with Eton Mess, Banana Fritters, and sticky date puddings along with many other deserts.
Everybody reckoned it was one of the best dine-outs we had had, and they’d thoroughly recommend it to everyone. Congratulations to Chris L for selecting Table 48. We can’t wait till next month!!
