The Footy Season starts next year on Thursday, 6 March 2025 which is a couple of weeks earlier than normal. There have been a couple of Rule Changes in our Tipping Competition, as detailed below.
• Tipping commences in the Opening Round on March 6, 2025 and covers the whole season up to and including the Finals.
• If you score e perfect round, you’ll receive a one (1) point bonus
• No Points for not tipping
• There will be one (1) Joker Rounds determined by competition members.
If you wish to participate, please put your name on the activity sheet. The Club will send you an invoice for the $25 per person entry fee.
Details of the Rule Changes.
No Tipping – No Score
Anyone who doesn’t submit tips before a match will receive zero (0) points. If a competition member partially enters tips, they will receive zero points for missed tips and regular scores for entered tips.
All Correct Bonus
Pick a perfect round and you’ll receive an extra one (1) point. No bonus if you don’t pick all matches. Bonus points are only available during the Home and Away season.
Joker Rounds
There will be one Joker Rounds throughout the full season and finals. Competition Members will choose when the Joker Round is selected. Simply hit the Joker Button at the bottom of your tipping page and select the rounds you wish.
You must apply your Joker Round BEFORE the first game of a round has started. Once this deadline has been reached, you won’t be able to play a Joker on that round.
In a Joker Round a competition members score is doubled.
Prizes
The prizes will be paid after the Grand Final. 1st prize is 50% of the Prize Pool, 2nd Prize is 30% of the Prize Pool, and 3rd Prize is 20% of the Prize Pool. There is no Prize for coming last.
