Christmas is a great time for Probians! Yesterday, the Club celebrated its 2024 Christmas Luncheon at the Springs Hotel, Waubra, Vic. Waubra is a little old town about 30km north-west of Ballarat. We had more than 60 members in attendance, and we enjoyed a hearty Christmas meal, including roast or seafood, as well as plum pudding or pavlova.
Although it’s old, the Hotel was enjoying its second birthday under new owners including many local people. The paint was still wet, but we all fitted in, and a great time was had by everybody. Geoff, our president had done a marvellous job in organising the whole day, and Wendy, organising the Christmas Hampers, had also done a great job.
The food was great, the service terrific and everybody had a great day.
