The rain was falling and the weather felt like a real Christmas. The Dine-Out was held at The Court House Hotel at Smythesdale today and we had nearly 20 members in attendance.
Established in 1859, The Courthouse Hotel has stood the test of time as a beloved restaurant and local venue in Western Victoria. We had lunch in the very spacious bistro, and we were entertained by a small musical group. The problem that they had, it was the Final day of the Ashes Test Cricket on the television, so we didn’t know what to concentrate on!!
Everybody had a great meal, and the Hotel was more than happy to split the bill, which suited everyone. The service was excellent. Chris did a great job of decorating the table and we all enjoyed chocolate after our lunch. Yum!
