A group of our members went along to see Celeste Barber on her Backup Dancer tour.
Whilst her show was very funny, and her target audience are a younger group of individuals, there were some parts of her show that did descend a little too low as far as crudeness is concerned. We are not prudes, but when Celeste is such a funny person, it begs one to wonder why?
That said, the show was very funny, and the majority of our members had a wonderful evening, beginning with a very nice meal at the Blue Bell Hotel. Our next show at the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts is the Michael Crawford Tribute, where we have about 1/3rd of our total group attending. Looking forward to it.
